@sxpckcuda

I like USPS. You can choose other carriers, though. Hang in there.

Re: USPS

Buy from sellers that don't use it.

Re: USPS

As a seller you can choose what to use/list and as a buyer you could always request from sellers which may take more time (messaging) and unfortunately may lead you to be blocked. (from sellers with no patience) YMMV

I agree with @mtgraves7984 , hang in there!

Re: USPS

USPS has a monopoly on item weighing under 1 lb.   Sellers are often faced with a dilemma -- are buyers going to pay $6 - 9  via UPS or FedEx when the item only weighs a couple of ounces and USPS charges 3.98 - 4.58?

USPS has been "off" since Jan. due to a new AI system be implemented - as per my postmaster. Their system was in the "learning" phase.   I have noticed that things are improving as I monitor all my shipments and use USPS for 88% of my shipments. I ship 100 - 150 packages per day and now 82% ( better than the national average) are delivered by the estimated delivery date.  The key word is estimated -- USPS updates along the way & alerts if there is going to be a delay. I have noticed that I am receiving more requests for UPS and my customers don't mind paying the difference. Did you  have a bad experience?

Re: USPS

I can't say it's any better or worse that the other shippers.   They do seem better at looking into missing packages than some of the others do.

Re: USPS

After a two month long problem with USPS with Priority Mail where packages were sitting in those messed up distribution centers and customers screaming where is my item as well as a 400 dollar package completely lost by them I switched to Fed Ex. I get FEDEX 2 day FOR A few busks more than Priority mail for small packages and FEDEX EXPRESS rarely if ever screws up anything. I am done with the USPS for a long time until they fix their incompetent system.

Re: USPS

Been using UPS Ground and UPS Ground Saver for the majority of my shipments. Not seeing any delays or delivery mistakes.

The only thing I use USPS Ground Advantage for are the very inexpensive items.

Re: USPS

I use Ground Advantage exclusively and I've had zero issues with them aside from one package that took 12 days to be delivered a couple months back, but that was due to a snowstorm and not USPS' fault at all. I'm seeing an average of 2-5 days for delivery in probably 95% of cases, most of the exceptions being things going all the way to the other coast and taking 6-7 days.

Re: USPS

I use ground advantage for most of my itesm, it is the buyer's choice. Had a few late deliveries but all have made it.

Re: USPS

I really hate USPS!!!!    I ask sellers to use UPS or FedEx and I usually can have the items shipped via UPS or FedEx.      I also look thru the shipping options.

Re: USPS

To add to this, I shipped 4 things on Friday. Looking at the status of my orders in the app, 3 of those 4 have already been delivered.
