I'm a seller based in Portugal - Europe, like many others I have been hit hard by Covid and lost a few thousands of dollars in shipments to United States ........ it seems now USPS are delivering the April orders .
Some buyers that were refunded are now receiving the packages, the problem is that the ebay site/USPS doesn't update the website . For example, the registered nr. RF490556807PT have been delivered last week (I know that because customer told me) but tracking only shows that this package left Portugal for international expedition at 20th April ........ any other website were we can trace USPS deliveries ?
So frustrating doing our job properly and lost so much money without any support from Ebay .......

Hello,
I face the exactly the same situation sending items from Athens, Greece to US and elsewhere.
Most of the airline carriers have either disrupted the 90% of their flights to Covid-19 affected countries
or they serve with a lot of problems due to the less number of their personel.
This has as a result a lot of extra problems and huge delays on deliveries by the Post Mail Services around the globe.
Also due to the Covid situation many shipping carriers use third party shipping services to forward post mail & packages to the destination countries and this cause a lot of disruptions to the transmitted tracking information.
That's why there are no accurate and in real time tracking information and either the item may seems to be in Portugal and the same time the item is on the way to buyer's place for final delivery.
On the other side, Ebay although posting alerts on Covid-19 and gives guarantee for not downgrades on sellers status upto 20 July due to Covid-19 delays on delivery, however, in action does the oposite continuing to provide to Paypal the sellers status profiles as downgraded to below standard and the result is Paypal to hold Ebay Payment funds until buyer receives the item! (This is what has happened with me)
In action it seems that Ebay don't know how to handle this situation - of course Ebay is not responsible for this mess on deliveries - they should try, at least, to temporarily embodied into their policy for sellers things would made this situation as normal as it could be like to give extra time in their estimation time of deliveries, to take as account the deliveries delays due to Covid-19 when is about of open cases at Ebay resolution center for not receival of an item into the present Ebay's estimated time of delivery, etc.
We lose money and reputation all those "Covid" months and finaly due to Ebay's management on the crisis situation we feel trapped into this emergency business environment.

Just to be clear, you did not send this as a trackable service. You sent this registered mail (as indicated by the RF code at the beginning of the number). In the USA, registered mail is handled with First Class letters rather than packages - letters are not tracked, but packages are tracked.
Even though it is not trackable, registered mail is still supposed to get a scan at delivery and that scan is supposed to be accessible on the USPS tracking site ... if it is not on the USPS website, then the carrier who delivered the letter probably failed to scan it.

Sorry but you are wrong . From Portugal we have 2 types of Registered Mail (RF - signed) and UA (registered not signed) . Both of them are traceble when the coins arrive US . What I would like to know is what tool or link ebay uses to trace this . Those 2 examples above you can't trace them at www.usps.com but ebay tool can trace both ! Anyone knows what link ebay use ?

What was missing in March and April deliveries it was the tracking . Some of them I know they were delivered but there's no online tracking; so I can't get my money back . I have a negative feedback ($200) from a buyer who says I have sent him a "phony tracking" . I have sent him photo of the sending, the registered mail but since there's no more information at ebay/USPS site he have recived the coin, I get $200 loss, get a unfair negative and loose my fees and credibility ....... how unfair is this !?

Thank you Aris ....... the 17tracknet is the same; doesn't show the United States delivery .
I'm supposed to have an account manager (sold 700k last year and 60k in fees) and will be "below standard" if "my account manager" does nothing before 20 June . I have sent them an e-mail asking for removel without any reply ...... anyway if ebay downgrade my account I go elsewhere, Amazon, Etsy, Ma-shops . I was also considering open an account in ebay.co.uk and block shipments to USA . It seems in May USPS is better . I had no issues before March with USPS delivering my orders in 10/12 business days from Portugal to USA; a TOP service; Covid have changed all; ebay doesn't care and if they continue to put "their head in the sand" I will move my business elsewhere ! Ebay doesn't protect and doesn't care about their sellers; it's a shame ! I was always loyal to ebay, have grow with them, always provided a top rated service to our customers but I'm tired of this situation ........ if they don't protect the honest sellers they will need to find another seller who leaves 60k a year in fees !

I agree 100% with you.
For e.g. USPS or Royal Mail on UK really tries to deliver in the middle of the Codid-19 emergency situation even with significant delays and therefore they are very respectable services as they keep users posted with continous alerts telling the real situation regarding delays or specific difficulties on deliveries all these months.
Not mentioned of the Canada Post that, although they don't provide tracking info for incomming mail into Canada I discovered (through my Canadian buyers) that all of the packages I'd sent from March till 5 June they were delivered with only 3-4 days delay which is something remarkable!
On the other hand Ebay, day by day is proving that the sellers playing finaly a role as living baits as buyers look like to be the big fishes for them! 🙂
I'm start thinkin if they mostly care to give loans from now on instead of earning through selling fees and subscriptions.
I would suggested that the seller-buyer comprehensive communication these days is the only way to overcome these deficient practices that Ebay applies as Covid-19 impacts have changed the whole business environment in US and around the world. And this is something that Ebay still ignores.
