USPS on HOLD!

USPS is so frustrating with their hold times for customer service. Does anyone know how to navigate the options tree so that you get the call back option as opposed to having to wait and keep the phone blasted and by your side for **bleep** near an hour? I would say only 10% of the time I have gotten this option. I don't understand why they randomly give you the call back option unless there is some sort of key to making this happen.

What's the issue you need to solve?

Why are you calling USPS customer service  so often? I've been selling on eBay since 1999 and have never needed to call them. Perhaps it's something that other board members could help you with?

have you signed up for online notification of updates? Sometimes that seems to shake something loose.

Simplest fix is to call or stop in at your LOCAL Post Office. Do this at their less busy times. Early afternoons is good, they have gotten the days mail out with the carriers, the lunch time window rush is over and the carriers aren't back yet with the outgoing. Ask the Postmaster or supervisor to check on the internal system.
