USPS Tracking Systems Not Updating After 2/4

NOTE: It appears that it might just be isolated as others are reporting no issues. Just thought I would check, thanks to all that respond!

Anyone have anything in transit that they can track and see if they have any tracking updates since afternoon 2/4? Everything I have in motion right now has stopped tracking at around noon 2/4 EST and I've tracked here on eBay and through the USPS directly and they're the same.

Spot checked 4 of the packages I shipped yesterday and all have scans from today the 5th.

Perhaps all of your packages are stuck at the same facility that's backed up?

Checked some of ours we shipped yesterday and they show updates for today

Unfortunately that's not the case, I have items that have been in motion for a few days now and everything I shipped has stopped updating at that time at various places in the country (no service delays/fires/weather issues). I am happy to hear that it's not widespread, but just weird that nothing I track shows an update since noon yesterday. Thanks for responding!

My shipments since Jan 31st have all been stuck at "Pre-Shipment, Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item". 5 packages have been like this, and this is definitely not usual behavior. It could certainly be isolated to my route, but I've already seen a few other threads about USPS not scanning their pickup within the past few days.

I shipped out yesterday a package with no problem and got a notice it will be delivered tomorrow. 😎

But then, I always walk my package to the post office and I did use the postage from the post office.

I have had 5 orders that i have refunded because USPS not updating tracking of packages but it was before 2/4 and after the date and one still hasnt been delivered and was shipped 1/24 from Ohio to Virginia and last time it was scanned its in Cleveland so i refunded customer yesterday 2/5 I could have drove it there lol it makes the sellers look bad well i feel bad .

I have mailed several envelopes using Ebay tracking recently. None of them show any movement...only that a shipping label was created. The last envelope that showed any movement at all was on February 11th. Very aggravating...

Item sold was delivered, positive feedback was received, but USPS tracking does not show any movement.  Can i manual mark to item as delivered somehow?

Yes, I see the same thing. I use eBay Standard Delivery that has tracking number, but no tracking updates since Feb.

It doesn't even show shipped to buyer, just shipped.

I don't know about ground advantage, but pretty much everyone on a postcard sellers group I belong to is not showing tracking anymore for ebay standard envelope this month. Someone on another thread on this site found a workaround to actually end up seeing your tracking, but it's not something most customers will be able to see. So it is obvious that for ebay standard envelope tracking, the problem is purely Ebay as you can jump through hoops and see that the post office is actually scanning and reporting the tracking. It looks to m like a super simple fix for Ebay to correct this, but...... you know.

eBay posted an announcement here.

"We are aware of an issue with eBay Standard Envelope shipments not displaying tracking events on eBay. We are working to resolve this issue and are in the process of updating the display of tracking events for the impacted shipments.  

If your shipment is impacted and you have an Item Not Received claim due to this issue, your item will be eligible for the included shipment protection. Additionally, eBay will automatically protect your service metrics for Item Not Received cases."
