Hi! I also posted this question in the 'Ask a Mentor' group. But then I thought it might be more applicable here in the Shipping group. So here goes.
Is anyone else having issues with the eBay generated tracking numbers working? Or am I just crazy?
I packed and shipped an order this morning using a label I generated through eBay. I waited in line and had the package scanned at my local post office, which I always do because I'm paranoid about the packages not arriving to my buyers. I dropped it off at the post office / had it scanned this morning at 9:13am. I made sure to get a receipt.
Now almost 12 hours later, it's showing up on eBay as 'Tracking Number Generated' and on the USPS website as 'Not Trackable'.
Is this a known issue that happens? Asking because in the last two years, I've sold/shipped hundreds of items but never run into this problem before.
I'm worried that my buyers will get anxious that the item is showing as shipped by there's no information. I know I would if this was something I was waiting on.
Does anyone have any advice?
