USPS Shipping problems

Can Ebay NOT Post something to let all buyer be aware of the PROBLEMS USPS is having all over the country in shipping our items to our customers.

It would also help if eBay would factor in a sellers handling time into the estimated delivery window. I set mine at 2 days just in case of a problem, but since I usually ship same or next day eBay ignores my handling time by using historical data instead of what I post in the listing and if I do happen to need the extra day due to unforeseen circumstances it never fails that the estimated delivery date would be the day after I ship if I take the full 2 days to ship. Since I use USPS Ground Advantage that just isn't going to happen unless it is maybe 1 state over from me and that is even a stretch.

The postal service is definitely experiencing delivery problems and eBay's overly optimistic estimated delivery dates aren't helping sellers very much in this area.

Is there is a webpage from the USPS that records the incidence of lost and delayed mail (packages specifically)? The service alerts cover big, explainable things. The USPS must keep track of problems that are not so easily explained (like the current "black holes"), and that should be public information.

Come on - big hiccups will occur with any big supply chain system change.  Short term pain for long term gain.  And you saw that uptick in service rates after the very short term slowdown?

Not anymore really.

They are prioritizing keeping the flow going. Packages have been MUCH faster to get out of palmetto.

Some report that older packages are still being processed, so those that have been sidelined might be delayed, however a lot of progress has been made.

Haha, lets blame Trump for the USPS's great improvements.

This guy has gotten me to transition over 75% of my business to the USPS which all almost went to the UPS.

GA has been very good.

But lets all cry when some hiccups happen from some big changes to the system even though it will make the service even better.

Huh. I'd heard they were having problems for a while, but then mine went through with no issues and I saw a couple of other people here on the boards saying theirs went right through as well, so I thought they'd straightened that out (at least on the incoming packages end, since all of the other people I saw saying theirs made it through with no problems were shipping into Atlanta).

Many many many posts about USPS losing packages and that's a hiccup. Sounds like me mentioning trump got u all snowflakey. There are congressional hearings over the way Dejoy has handled this fiasco he calls improvements.

Got a call from the Atl post office since I had a case opened and the item was going there. Was told they still have a major back log of packages.

It's natural for people that have not been effected to say everything is ok! Listen to those who are informing otherwise and don't assume they are just whiners. I had problems with a money order not being delivered passing through Phoenix Az 500 miles away 11 days late! Take the info and act on it or don't. It's your choice. My  400 dollar item is still in Palmetto (they think) 20 days now.

This is the problem I have with eBays estimated delivery windows. This is what is now showing to the buyer, as of today on the top, arriving by the 15th and then on the bottom is what was shown to the buyer at checkout.  I save a copy of the order details for my records, arriving between the 15th -18th. It is currently still in transit as of today by GA. And they wonder why sellers are frustrated:
