Can Ebay NOT Post something to let all buyer be aware of the PROBLEMS USPS is having all over the country in shipping our items to our customers.
IT WOULD BE NICE.

When eBay changes from a window (15-18), it gets replaced with your carrier's estimated delivery date.

USPS is killing me. I can’t comprehend how we’ve come to this point.

Oh , you know. I do. I've had nothing but issues with USPS this last month. I now have 15 open missing mail cases right now.

And unfortunately that estimated date shown is wrong as the item is still in transit and hasn't even arrived at the Destination sorting hub much less the buyers Post Office. The only time that estimated date should change from checkout is if the item takes longer than the original estimated date at checkout.

This is the information your carrier that you hired is giving eBay.
If it's wrong, then I'd recommend you take it up with the carrier.
When eBay has no information from the carrier it gives an estimated window (15-18) a range based on it's statistical calculation of package history. This doesn't mean this is when it will be delivered. It's not guaranteed 15-18. This is called an ESTIMATE.
The date that changed to the 15th was given to eBay by your carrier, so if you continue to have issues where you want a different reported estimation then you should change carriers.
But regardless, the date doesn't matter. as long as you handle your package by your listed handling time then eBay will never consider your package late. (Unless unreasonably different that causes an INR to be opened).

The carrier is USPS Ground Advantage. Their website never changed the estimated arrival date of the 18th.
Only eBay was showing that date (the 15th). I realize it is just an estimate, but a lot of buyers don't because they have been conditioned by eBay to initiate INR claims as soon as the day after the last estimated arrival date passes. All I want is for eBay to not continually change the goalposts while the item is in transit.
Also using statistical data is ridiculous, especially with all the problems USPS is currently having.

USPS reported the 15th probably at acceptance and then adjusted it later.
I've shipped 1000s of packages and never seen eBay make up an imaginary number (outside of the expected window).
But the window gets replaced as soon as the carrier gives an estimate.
Who cares about INRs? If you are getting your item delivered then they aren't anything to worry about. They will get closed against the buyer no problem.
INR will only hurt you if you aren't getting your item delivered.
Ebay is going to continue to change the goalpost based on what the carrier tells them. They don't make up their own numbers, they pull the information directly from the carrier.
How else would you create an estimate without basing it on data history? Should eBay just not give any estimations for people who use USPS? Not going to happen.

My item still stuck at Palmeto until now. Been there 2 weeks. Now I sent another item to replace the missing one and NOW STUCK AGAIN in Palmeto!!!! I think I should not sell to georgia buyers for a while until their USPS office system get fixed.
