On certain occasions I've had to cancel or void a shipping label for USPS once I've already printed it. It seems to me I've never received the credit back to my credit card for such a refund. It says once approved I will receive a refund. My question is the refund going back to ebay instead of me? I've had issues with damage claims using ebay shipping label for UPS where UPS approved the damage claim but sent the claim money to ebay instead of me because it was ebay's UPS account number. Never again will I use an ebay label for UPS shipping. I shouldn't have to file all a bunch of forms to get the money for a damaged item that was mine in the first place- not ebay's.

Postage refunds can take up to 21 days and go back the the original funding source, this can either be your ebay or PayPal account, which ever you select at the bottom of the create label page.

When I cancelled or did not use a USPS shipping label, printed through ebay, it took 30 days for the USPS to refund the shipping cost, and it went back into my PayPal balance, but that was before ebays managed payments. 

  If you did print the label through ebay, the refund now should go back into your bank account listed w/ ebay, for debit card purchases, or on your credit card statement.  However it can take up to 30 days for a credit to appear on a card statement after it is issued. You can try calling the number on your card after the USPS' 30 day hold, to see if a credit is being processed.  I would suggest notifying USPS with the label tracking number about for a canceled / unused label to make sure you get a credit from them.

As for the ebay/UPS interface, I have no answer for you.  I go out of my way to avoid using UPS for shipping. Still you paid for the shipping, and you may have received a refund, but it may not have gone where you expected it to because of managed payments.

I am having the same issue. USPS label canceled, same day it was printed and no refund.

It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label. The carrier waits to make sure the label isn't used.

You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.
