USPS Rate Increase

Did anyone else notice the nice price increase from USPS today? Why weren't we notified or did I miss the notice?

Yes, I noticed while printing a media mail label today.

I just checked and it's ridiculous. It's on first class and media mail however they will raise again in October 3 for the "Holiday Season"  But I don't recall seeing anything on Ebay about this.

DeJoy needs to be arrested!

After adjusting my shipping just earlier this year from 1st class to media because of cost.. today I go to ship a 45 rpm record (4oz) and to ship from MA to OH it now cost less to ship 1st Class over Media.  Just insane!

eBay failed to give sellers notification about the increase in Media Mail postage which went into effect yesterday. Here's a comparison of old and new prices:

For me the worst increase, well-hidden in advance, is the nonmachinable surcharge from 20¢ to 30¢, a 50% increase.

There was plenty of notification from the USPS and major media outlets across the USA.  Even commercial postage sites explained it as well----yours truly posted the increase warning in some threads.  eBay did send a notice about Standard Envelopes going up (which I do not use).  Media Rate has gone up 10% and Forever Stamps at retail.  Luckily, no rise for First Class, US Priority, etc. parcels, but when you see Media Rate at $3.19 and First Class cheaper for 4oz package in some areas, you know the USPS will fly fake excuses to jack up the price gigantic come January with their mandate in accordance with inflation.  Well guess what we have from President Plugs?  Carter Stagflation.  Do your best in Q4 and the beginning of Q1, should be a huge cash cow for eBay sellers just like 2020, IMHO.
