The 1st class package I shipped on 7/31/20 has been bouncing around between Jersey City, White Plains NY and Stamford Ct. for several days. It is now back in Jersey City. Does anyone know why this is and what to do about it? The address was provided by the buyer. Here is the tracking history:

USPS is messed up now adays, i have couple of times like this situation, in my opinion you should increase your handling time to overcome this problem. i also face delays from carrier side i have made so many complaints to USPS but its govt entity, they don't care.

I sold an item to a buyer and it showed that it was delivered to her doorstep. Buyer contacted me and the post office thinking someone took it from her door. She even went to the office of her apartment complex and no such delivery ever occurred that day on camera. She went back to the post office and told them what happened and was told that a carrier can say it was delivered when it in fact wasn't and to wait another day. No one else on her wing received it either, but two days later it finally showed up. Makes you wonder if a mailman forgot it on the truck and just marked it delivered instead of going back, or what. Glad she finally received it but I have never heard of a mailman being able to do this.

I've been using USPS since 1998 and until last month, I could always count on fast and reliable service from people who do care. The only difference now is that President Trump has appointed Louis DeJoy as Postmaster General and he is in the process of intentionally slowing down delivery to make it harder (if not impossible) to vote by mail and also as a way of privatizing a governmental institution that has been around since the 1780's.

I've had the identical problem with three packages in the past five weeks and none previously over a 22 year period as an eBay seller. The only difference now is that President Trump appointed Louis DeJoy (whose main qualification is that he owns a lot of stock in for-profit mail providers) to transform USPS which translates as slowing down delivery to make voting by mail less reliable and also to encourage the privatization of our postal services.

I would be happy if only one single day without buyer asking where is their item.

I had two first class packages delivered yesterday after I shipped 53 and 44 days ago. Of course I already refunded that two buyers long time ago. I also found if an item is not delivered after 45 days, USPS will erase the old tracking information and replace by new scanning as acceptance with next stop. This is confirmed by my PO postmaster and happened for my 53 days delivery package. I also have one priority package shipped 24 days ago, tracking still shows as delay.

We can not make money by current USPS delay & eBay's refund buyer system.
