USPS Ground Advantage

I just went to go change a listing from First Class to the new Ground Advantage. It is a package that is 12 ounces and measures 7x5x5. The rate they show for this is between $6.99 -$9.03. I just was on the USPS website and according to them, the postage would be between $6.15 - $6.55. Why is eBay charging more than Ground Advantage Retail? 

I don't want my customers to be charged more than retail.  I don't want to change my listings until I know that that is not going to happen.

Here is a ground advantage package, from CA to NY dropped off at post office July 29, delivered July 31.

Another GA, CA to IL. Dropped off July 22, delivered Chicago Il July 26

For every posted complaint about it taking too long to deliver or mis-routed packages, there probably thousands of examples like those above.

USPS Ground Advantage is a disaster. About 25% of my sent packages are late and the tracking is not being updated. Tracking will show shipping label created and then not show anything until it arives! There are no updates so buyers are using this as an excuse to claim packages are not shipped and requesting refunds. I believe ebay knows what is going on and so does the postal service. I would not use Ground Advantage unless your item is really cheap

Ditto on that!  I've had multiple USPS Ground Advantage packages travel across several states in 2 to 3 days and arrive at my delivery city and then apparently sit and/or wander around the areas suburb postal facilities for another 4 to 6 days.  Begone Louis DeJoy - USPS Board of Governors please replace this guy will someone competent who respects USPS history.  Someone who can update the USPS in a humane and sensible way rather than reckless hit and miss experimentation.
