USPS First Class Shipping Cost

I have no idea what's going on, but to try to sell an item and offer international shipping the BUYER costs went from 10-14 to 36-50. Anyone have any idea what's going on, or why this might be? I'm trying to list a new item, which is the same as an item I listed a few days ago and this skyrocket in change will definitely deter buyers.

Re: USPS First Class Shipping Cost

3 possibilities:

There is a tremendous jump in price from 8 ounces to 9 ounces. Also from 2 pounds to 2 pounds 1 ounce.

Make sure you are using First Class and not Priority

Watch the size. First class is limited to 36” length plus width plus height. (FCM does NOT use united inches as Priority doers)

That first price range is for packages up to 8 ounces; the second is for packages that weigh 49 - 64 ounces.  Perhaps you made a typo in the weight.

so weird! I haven't changed anything about the package. It's a 2 ounce package. I'll keep messing around I guess. Thanks

Re: USPS First Class Shipping Cost

You don't need to "mess around." You need to check what weight is entered in the shipping calculator for the listing.

Re: USPS First Class Shipping Cost

All my Intl. calculators vanished when I bulk relisted items.

Something is def. wrong.

Re: USPS First Class Shipping Cost

You need to post actual costs for one specific instance here - not approximate numbers so they can be looked up in the tables to figure out what you are doing, what may be going on, and what may have changed.

Weight of package, how much (exactly) it comes up with to ship it to the UK, what the exact amount was before, what service (First Class Package International, Priority Mail International, etc.)
