Tracking numbers

Hi everyone! 

So first I am brand spanking new to this and I just need to know where to start. So when I create my listings, how do I get a tracking number for the package and how do I even start my store? I'm selling pre-owned books and I really don't know where to start. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

You dont get a tracking number until you buy your label. First, make sure you register for Managed Payments, so you can get paid for your sales. You will need to provide your banking information, and ss #. When that is complete, just go to Sell your Item at the top of any page, and begin your listings.

You don't need to open an eBay store to sell here.   You might want to search some of the books your planning to sell on eBay and see if they are selling and for what prices.

You don't need a tracking number to create the listing... only when you ship a sale. You do, however, need to set up your shipping policy and list what method (Media Mail?) and cost that you'll use to ship to the buyer.

As "brand spanking new", I'd stay away from a store just yet. You get 250 free listings/month without one. Good luck.
