I ship via Paypal Multi-Order shipping to have consolidated shipping for both my eBay and website orders. Until Nov 1, the tracking numbers generated thru Paypal shipping would automatically post to the eBay transaction when buyers paid via Paypal. Now I'm having to go in and add tracking numbers manually on the eBay Orders screen. Does anyone know if this is a glitch or a new policy creating more work for sellers?

I'm also curious on the above. I'm a buyer and not a seller and I'm not quite sure if the above is relates to my issue, but I paid for shipping with tracking via Paypal. Now, when I was notified that my item was shipped, I checked the details and no tracking number was provided. I bought the item on Oct. 31 and the item was shipped after Nov. 1. Are buyers now having to manually type in the tracking numbers? I haven't heard back from the buyer yet and maybe they are confused since this may be a new process.

It actually seems to have started at least at the end of August. Go back & check all of your sales since August 28th. I've just been gigged & told that I'm on some kind of probation thru December because almost 25 of my sales were showing shipped with NO tracking, even though I've both gone in & re input the trackiing into Paypal which said it was having problems but would update "soon" & then had to re re input directly into eBay.
The problem continues by paypal adding the tracking in with the WRONG carrier, which leaves a multiple shipment tag on eBay in the transaction. When you go in, the transactions show BOTH the WRONG shipping & the right shipping with the carrier either as USPS or UPS.
No amount of asking Paypal for when they will FIX it or why it is no longer loading onto eBay seems to elicit an answer. Which makes it WORSE when you are trying to work with rBay merchant customer services. They only "expedite the trouble ticket" but you never hear back from them either.
I'm STILL on this probation thing & I've not missed a tracking in over 10 years. So its a STUPID mistake that's being blamed on the merchants who have always relied on Paypal to upload to eBay.
Now having to do it manually & STILL finding errors days later, again pits you against the word of eBay.
Contact Paypal AGAIN via email if possible & then Contact eBay & let them KNOW that you've contacted Paypal about the matter & HOPEFULLY all of us will have our "grace period" removed since WE weren't the imbeciles that put in a new system without TESTING it first.
