Tracking Not Updating From USPS To eBay Tracking

Hi Folks....

I combined and shipped 2 orders on Monday, October 20th. One order was Priority mail. The other USPS Ground Advantage. I combined them to Ground Advantage (OK with customer). I have a scan receipt from the post office. Tracking is updating on the USPS site. Nothing is updating on eBay, just showing tracking number provided.  Does anyone have some insight on this issue? Thanks in advance.

Did you add the tracking number to the order you combined with?  If so, you should be OK.  Just wait for Ebay to update.

The tracking numbers automatically uploaded to the order after combining the shipping.

I shipped 6 packages yesterday and one today. All are showing movement on eBay. 
At times there is a delay.

You erred (even if the buyer was okay with it) by downgrading the priority item to ground advantage. 

You aren't allowed to downgrade shipping. You could have UPgraded the GA package to priority but you were wrong to ship an item advertised as priority mail by GA.

The only order I shipped yesterday (October 20th) was USPS Ground Advantage, and I am seeing the same thing you describe. I am going to keep an eye on the movement of this package via the USPS website. Hopefully, this is only a reporting lag time issue. I don't know if the AWS outage has anything to do with it, but it is something to consider.

Unfortunately I don't have any helpful insight but I've had similar results in the last several days. I shipped an item to a buyer on 10/20/25 by USPS and provided the tracking number on the order to ebay. The package was scanned and picked up by USPS on the same day but there have been no updates on eBay's tracking to reflect that. On the USPS site it shows all the relevant updates on the tracking. I also purchased an item on 10/17/25 and eBay's tracking shows no updates after the tracking number was provided by the seller. On the USPS site it shows all the updates and that it will be delivered tomorrow.  Now I am happy that at least the USPS site is keeping an accurate record of the delivery status of the items but I am concerned that because eBay's tracking does not show that I have actually mailed the package to my buyer that I will be penalized for not shipping in a timely manner.

Understood. I was wondering if that has anything to do with the tracking delay.  Others here are saying they are having the same delay issue. Hopefully it will update itself. Thank you.

That's pretty much what I am seeing. I shipped 3 other packages earlier that day, no issues.

Exactly my concern.

I was wondering if it had anything to do with me downgrading the shipping on the one order when I combined them...but it seems others are having the same issue.  Hopefully it will correct itself.

If not I'll call Ebay.

I just spoke with eBay. The rep said they will check the USPS site before giving me a strike. She gave me a case number. You may want to consider calling.

Same here - I've got items showing nothing on eBay's tracking but all looks fine when checking the USPS tracking system directly.
