Tracking Details

Hi there,

I'm relatively new to eBay but on one of my order tracking updates it says that the last thing that has happened is "Tracking Details Uploaded" and "Tracking Details Uploaded - PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT USPS AWAITS ITEM". This was 8 days ago and nothing has happened since. Is there a reason for this or am I just being paranoid?

It could mean many things including:

• Package was shipped but scans aren't populating.
• Package was shipped but not scanned, it will get a scan when it gets to the destination post office.
• Barcode on the label is damaged so scans won't register.
• Seller didn't ship yet.

All you really have to worry about @nikcha-45 is the estimated delivery date, not whether or not scans appear along the way. What's the estimated delivery date?

If that date has passed then you can contact the seller to ask what's up, or you can file a claim stating you didn't receive your item. I always go for the option of sending the seller a message first.

Right that makes sense. Yea the estimated delivery date isn't until a couple weeks so maybe I am just getting ahead of myself. I'll shoot the seller a message regardless.
