Is this site a  legit provider of package tracking or largely used by scammers ?  CAINIAO Legit? - https://global.cainiao.com/detail.htm?mailNoList=UB073391829SG

It provides far more complete- looking tracking information for the tracking number For a cheap eBay purchase I made than I get from ebay itself or from googling the tracking #.   The latter two just show that the number was created.  FYI, it’s UB073391829SG .

My hunch is it’s a site that provides fake info to appease eBayers when sellers try to save money by not paying for tracking. 

I couldn’t get much of an answer via a simple Google search.

HOWEVER: The most useful information I found was at https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/global.cainiao.com and it IS useful ... but it’s not even close to definitive. And it leans slightly in the opposite direction as my hunch.

That doesn’t really answer the question asked.

However, it is interesting that the information 17track provides, while far less detailed than CAINIAO’s, is consistent with it.
