I have a problem and I am unable to contact Ebay by phone due to not being able to speak. That is why I do all my business online. I bought a IM10093 for WR30X10093 GE Icemaker Refrigerator Ice Maker PS1993870 AP4345120 from a seller supplystuf Jan 02, 2015 on ebay site there was also at that time a offering of a 3 year warranty from square trade.

Find current ice maker listings to determine if SquareTrade is fraudulently offering coverage on those listings.
Then contact SquareTrade back to report your findings.

eBay isn't going to suggest anything. They can't help you. You've had the ice maker over 2 years. eBay doesn't provide a warranty, step in during warranty issues or enforce warranties. You have no recourse. You did read the square-trade policy before you bought it right? Buy a new ice maker, and not one on eBay if you want a full warranty. And squaretrade lied, the seller did nothing wrong. They cannot add squaretrade warranties to their listing, eBay is the one who offers it on qualifying listings.

So ebay will not suggest anything? but they can offer a warranty on item's purchased even though if there comes a time to use the warranty then you are out of luck? and yes I had it for over 2 years but the warranty was for 3 years so I am covered . Also the Ice maker that I purchased was New so why buy a new one somewhere else. IT is not my fault that a warranty was offered for the item that I purchased and I in good faith bought the Item since a warranty on item was offered to get to protect myself, so I thought at the time. I do have one recourse and that is to contact the bbb about this issue. And no I did not read the square trade policy why? because if you have ever bought anything on ebay and square trade warranty there is no policy there to read, you just click to add square trade to warranty and thats it.

If you look through the buying basics article on ebay, it tells you that any warranties a seller offers on ebay is not valid. Also, ebay can only do something up to 30 days after delivery, and 180 days on paypal. That's why ebay can't do anything for you 2 years after the sale. The sale only appears up to 3 months on the seller's history, then it's deleted. They aren't responding because there isn't a way for them to see the sale, then do anything for you. Squaretrade covers items purchased online pending inspection. You have to send the item in, and it must be approved to be covered from an authorized seller like a brick and mortar store's website. Any time I've visited a legitimate retailer offering squaretrade, there was always something to read.

*clarification*
Any warranty a seller offers through themselves or from the manufacturer. SO, a seller cannot say, "we offer a warranty up to 1 year on x item".
