I purchased a center cap replacement for an infinity car for my mother in law as she lost one. Received my package today as delive

red. Went home to retrieve it and found an empty envelope with the shipping label on it in my mail box. Can't find anywhere to get ahold of ebay to report the issue.

I totally agree that the OP left out VITAL information … including the fact that they tore open the empty envelope.

That looks like the cap forced it's way out of a poorly sealed envelop. The glue on those sometimes is old and the package can easily open with a bit of pressure. That seller should have used tape to secure the endflap. That one should be AN ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE. You got an empty envelop. The post office does NOT always mark the envelop/package as DAMAGED or Received opened.
I don't think it's a thief unless they own the same car. A porch pirate would have taken the entire package. If they open it, they would have left the item unless they needed that particular item.

@kingskid3n1 wrote:It is the sellers fault when my package should have been in a box weighing atleast a pound and I got a 1 oz empty envelope.
Just as a hint, this ^^^^^ in the OP would have garnered better responses, we can only advise on what info we are given 😉
I have been imported from Australia and this is my posting ID

Apartment mailboxes are better, provided the boxes have different keys for each box.
Even boxes on the door are vulnerable.
All the houses I have owned here in Canada have slots in the door,so mail arrives on the vestibule carpet.
But newer and rural areas have Community mailboxes, which are somewhat more secure.
Is that you in that photo opening that mailbox? If not, then did that guy try to punch you for being creepy and taking a photo of him getting his mail? Because I know I would have 😉
