Signature confirmation

When you sell a item over $750 eBay requires signature confirmation which is a good thing.I don’t see how to add it in my listing is it something that comes up after it’s sold when you go to the postage section that you can add signature confirmation before you print shipping label.

Thanks

Re: Signature confirmation

You are correct. If you want to put a line in your description saying that you'll require a signature, you can.

Re: Signature confirmation

If you want to pass along the cost of Signature Confirmation, just add it to either your asking price or your shipping and handling charge in your listing.  You'll see it as an optional add-on when you purchase your postage label.

I agree with the above advice to mention right in your listing Description that you will be requiring a signature; some buyers find it inconvenient and they might choose to have the package delivered to their workplace instead of their home address, to ensure that somebody's available to sign.

Re: Signature confirmation

There is electronic or written signature...do the written signature confirmation per my post office tells me. And let the buyer know how it is being sent. I do my packages in person at the post office and get a receipt from them as to "Expected Delivery"...Buyer likes that extra touch from me in an email. Plus, I also ( iPhone) take a photo of package and send to buyer so they know package is in the mail. Something in your price range I would do.
