Found out today on a dispute, the signature is again a PO worker - not the Buyer.
PO is still not collecting signatures, especially in certain parts of the US, where Delta has ramped up.
So why bother? I called the PO today where this was considered last scan before delivery. Worker I spoke with says at their discretion.
This was to an apartment building. They leave parcels atop a mailbox station.

ZOMBIE THREAD FROM 2021.
The problem with zombie threads is that information and advice may be out of date and no longer valid.
YOur specific problem is complex but has nothing to do with USPS substituting carrier signatures for recipient signatures at the height of the COVID pandemic.
Start your own thread for good advice.

Hi. Thanks. This happened last month June 2023. The postmaster said the covid restrictions expired before my issue so postal employees signing for packages is not applicable.
