Shipping label won't print due to error: "Street address may not exceed 40 characters"

Ship Label won't print due to error: "Street address may not exceed 40 characters" . I verified buyer (in Mexico) is exceeding 40 characters +8.  Item and shipping are paid,  but attempts to communicate w/buyer have failed to get response.  I'll give it more time but must consider canceling a good sale with refund.  Any ideas? Thank you.

ps: I don't speak Spanish, so I hesitate to get creative & shrink Address.

To solve I used google's Spanish translator to find ways to shorten address without losing content. ie, abreviations etc. Thank you to all those who replied.

Print the street address as 2 lines. Problem solved.

Be careful--  if you change the address at all, you may see your seller protection go away.

On the page where you print the shipping label see if the "seller protection elligble" disapears if you change the label.

I had one of these that I had to cancel and just selected "problem with buyers address".  You can message them and tell them they can fix their address and reorder after you relist.

Also, the address on my order was also the Trump resort in Florida ( "Florida EUA" with no unit number), so it already smelled fishy.

I run into that a lot of various foreign addresses.

Simply copy and paste part of what is on the first line of the address onto the second line.

Despite other’s warnings you are not actually changing the address, only the layout. If there is a problem you can honestly say you did not “change” the address.

Thank you, but it appears the editor that comes up doesn't allow me to make a 2nd line.

Thank you, despite what I said about not getting creative to shorten a Spanish language address, I used google tranlater to make address under 40 char limit. Despite risk I think it'll be ok.
I saw the seller protecttion warning but missed if it actually "went away"....fingers x'd

Thank you, but I'm not seeing where there is a "second line" for the Street Address. When my shipping label attempt got rejected with "exceeding 40 char limit" error, it enabled "change" editor but confined to one line & 40 char limit .

Correcting the street address is not the same as changing it to a different location, and abbreviating it or breaking it to two lines is acceptable. A Delivered status only confirms that it was delivered to the buyer's City and ZIP; the actual street address is not considered.
