Shipping error

I am very careful to pack & ship items one at a time. I pack, weigh, print & label before moving to the next item. This weekend 4 items went to the wrong buyer. Is it possible there was a glitch in the app? One item eas packed a day before the rest because it was the only one paid for at that time. I am 99% positive I did not mix things up that bad.

I'm sorry but how could a glitch in the app cause you to put the wrong label on the wrong package?

When you pack an order ahead of time (you said you did it a day before) do you write on the box what is in the box or do you rely on memory?

When you print the label do you write on the back of the label what the label is for or do you rely on memory?

If in both cases the former then clearly the mistake is your for not properly matching up the label with the box. If in both cases the later then the mistake is yours for your own memory lapse.

Sorry to say but, this sounds like seller error to me.

We don't use the app for important tasks simply because I don't find it to be user friendly.  So can't speak to any glitches there.  
I would suggest printing out a pick list.  (I only know how to do this from my pc btw.).  Go to manage orders awaiting shipment, after selecting all orders to ship, in the drop down at the top select "print packing slip and more"...on the next screen click on "pick list".  
As orders are packaged and weighed, jot down on the package itself the buyer's initials and state, matching it with the pick list.  We use the area underneath where the label will go.
Knock on wood, we haven't mixed anything up yet doing it this way, on either of our stores.

I am. And I don't print multiple labels at a time. I go from start to finish on each item.  Label is on the box before I go back into the app to ship the next item.  Nothing is boxed up ahead of time.

I was thinking the links from "paid ship now" notification were mixed up? I have no idea. Bit nothing is boxed up ahead of time. I go all the way to attaching label to box before I go to the next item. The only reason I say 99% is because I am not perfect, but I go thru this process to ensure I don't mix stuff up. Plus one item was packed and labeled a day before the rest.  I am working things out with buyers. I have sold on here for many years...I just thought asking if anyone else had this issue may help me figure this out.
