I sold about 16 years ago and want to start selling some of the things around my home. After extensive reading on eBay and USPS, I still don't understand a number of terms. Such as:
Free economy as found in listings
Free standard " " "
Free expedited " " "
Priority: is that a set price per box size
Thanks, obrien-smith

eBay invented categories such as "standard" , "economy" and "expedited" to help categorize the services of various carriers. Here's the eBay Help page with a chart showing which shipping methods eBay considers to be in each category.

There are 5 specific Priority Mail flat rate boxes, and 4 specific Regional rate boxes. If you don't use one of those boxes, then the psotage for your Priority Miail package is based on its weight and dimensions, and on the distance it is shipped.

Seller listings that show "free" shipping indicate that the shipper is paying for the shipping charges, rather than the buyer. So you (as the seller) would need to incorporate your shipping charges into the selling price of the item which you are selling. It is not "free" to the seller.
USPS Priority shipping provides a faster (and more expensive) form of shipping -- you can find more information available on the USPS site.
