I'm a new seller and I realize this sounds bizarre, but with every description I put up for my sales, when I enter the shipping dimensions and I check back later to view my listings, they change! The weight changes as well. I have to correct them and once I do, they stay the same. (Thus far.)
Has this happened to anyone else? What am I doing incorrectly or is it Gremlins?

That's not a problem. The programming in the shipping calculators can deal with it. It doesn't matter what order you enter the dimensions, even though USPS has a preference which is to enter the longest dimension first, then the second-longest (i.e., 15 x 12 x 3.5 in your example).

Oh, alright then. Had no idea, figured when eBay made the boxes they would have just cut and pasted what USPS uses or what have you. Well, I wouldn't have had to publicly make a fool out of myself if there had been some form of documentation or something I could have read that in.. 🤔

I'm writing replies to this question on my Tablet, however I always create my sales on my laptop. I'm going to try entering the shipping info on a different laptop. Thanks everyone, for your assistance to this wonky question!

In that case I stand by what I said in post 5 as the likely solution. 😁

Absolutely happening! I input the correct measurements into the calculated shipping place/boxes and then I move along and preview my listing. When I go back to re-look at it it has defaulted back to the original dimensions. This happened over and over and with all seven items that I draft listed today. I will be ready to post them tomorrow night but I’m concerned that the dimensions will change again.

This just happened to me. I listed something, eBay suggested a size that was far to light and small, so I changed it in the listing process and proceeded to list the item. Then, when I sell it and go to print the label, the label is for the smaller size and weight that eBay suggested - not what I entered at all. Of course, this means the buyer paid $30 less than was required for shipping and, unless eBay does something, I'm out that from my sale.

I know exactly what you are going through I just started selling 20 lb ingots and completely got screwed because of this so what happens is you enter the dimensions and like I did even in the title mind stage 20 lb but when you enter the dimensions it doesn't automatically import that to the shipping dimensions so you have to enter the dimensions and you have to then enter the shipping dimensions do weight height and all that and then make sure to save and then you should be good to go this is a crazy defect in eBay system and I don't know how more people don't understand what you're talking about
