Seller update- Shipping issue

Is anyone else having problems with the new shipping listing options? I use USPS Flat Rate Box options. In the old format I could specify what size box I would use, now they are all lumped together. My biggest issue is that the majority of my sales are on shoes. I used to be able to offer free shipping if they didn't need the box, and offer a reduced shipping rate if they would like the box. So most of the time I ship in USPS Medium Flat Box and add an additional shipping cost of $6 for the Large Flat rate box if they would like the shoe box. Now when I try to add an additional shipping option- Priority Flat rate isn't even an option, since I used it as my first option. This is going to be a major problem for me, has anyone figured out a work around? I can't see how this change has made the buyers' experience better or benefit sellers. I really don't want to use another service because I enjoy not paying for shipping supplies, and getting tracking and insurance for every shipped item.

Ah, I had this same issue! What I did was delete that first shipping option and then enter another one first. I know it sounds weird but try it!

Next, try changing the dimensions to something smaller and if you have to edit in the dimensions at the end, so be it.

And if all else fails, create the listing with multiple options. You know, like those PICK YOUR OWN lots? Make 2 options. 1 WITH BOX and 1 W/O BOX. That should allow you to add 2 types of dimensions and better yet, 2 types of different shipping options! Hope this helps!

eBay made an unannounced change related to setting up listings with certain types of packaging. When package dimensions entered exceed eBay's programmed dimensions, eBay will not show you those shipping options when setting up your listing.

To access these services, enter the following package dimensions:

USPS Flat Rate Envelopes: 12x9x1
USPS Small Flat Rate Box: 8x5x1
USPS Med Flat Rate Box: 14x12x3 or 11x8x6
USPS Large Flat Rate Box: 12x12x6
eBay Standard Envelope: 11x6x0.25

Thanks so much, I did finally get someone at EBay who also showed me a way , but it requires using my laptop and a lot more steps. Your way is much easier! Thanks
