ANYONE ELSE HAVING ISSUE WITH STANDARD SHIPPING LABELS, OVER THE LAST 30 DAYS, ITEMS SHIPPED ARE NOT RECEIVING ANY KIND OF A TRACKING STATUS, NOT AT LOCAL PO, OR PROCESSING CENTER ITS LIKE THEY ARE NOT SHIPPED AT ALL AND THIS IS BECOMING A CONCERING ISSUE. SHOULD I JUST RAISE THE SHIPPING COST TO REFLECT A USPS TRACKING NUMBER? BEEN INFORMED BY USPS THAT THE TRACKING NUMBER ON THE EBAY LABEL IS NOT TRACKABLE IN THEIR SYSTEM.

This just happened to me. Used Ebay standard envelope. Item was never scanned. Buyer got item after about 21 days. Llked the item and gave positive feedback. However, Ebay refunded the buyers money!
Terrible!

Yes I have had this occur as well as when I scan it myself at the kiosk at the local post office it shows that it never left the hub. No updates. Very frustrating.

Assuming you're talking about eBay Standard Envelope, my understanding is that the best way to avoid them not being scanned initially is to drop them in the Metered Mail slot at your post office (not the regular mail slot, and do not take them to the counter).
If you're shipping coins in them (looks like that's a good portion of your sales), it's possible you're running into machining issues with the sorting machines. What type of envelope are you using, and how rigid or flexible are they once you've fully packaged them up?

eBay Standard Envelopes (eSE) do not have actual tracking barcodes, like what you see on Media Mail, Ground Advantage or Priority packages. eSE envelopes cannot be scanned at either Acceptance or Delivery; they are only scanned by automated sorting machines that read the Intelligent Barcode printed on eSE envelopes, and those sightings are what go back to eBay. The last scan closest to the recipient's address is considered to be a Delivery scan, as the envelope will probably reach the recipient within a day or so.

There a sellers who never have problems with ESE. There are sellers who sometimes have problems with ESE. There are sellers who always have problems with ESE.
It depends on what you sell, how you pack it, and whether the sorting machines which your envelope passes through has tolerances which do not jam with your envelopes.
I will not use it. I offer GA primarily, and I do not get down in pricing as low as some sellers. If it is too small a profit by my standards, it is trashed, donated or combined to make a lot, it is not worth the hassle of ESE to me.
You should be able to collect on the insurance on you lost ESE envelopes most of the time.

You need to file a complaint in writing to your local Post Master and follow it up with a copy to your Senator, Their are a lot of problems it seems in certain postal districts with mis-directed mail as well as theft by postal employees. Do not expect any help from ebay we had a package tracked that took 53 days to deliver and eBay's response was a black mark on us for late shipment in spite of the tracking record.
