Do you have free refunds? The item is now fundamentally different than when you sent it out. This means it is not mint. Ebay will force the return as you have no proof that you sent him a sealed item and eventually the buyer will win. Have they opened a case yet? If so what did they say?

Oh my gosh--that is just pathetic. I cannot get over some of these people--do they have NO shame? They just literally do not care if they even make up a believable story--at least he could have run over the box with his car--then if all the valuable cards disappeared in the wind--well, that certainly was just a coincidence, right?
So ridiculously blatant and idiotic--I still just can't believe that any below average intelligence moron can get away with this kind of stuff. Back in the "old" days--that guy wouldn't have gotten ANY money back, and would have been called out besides, and treated like the lowlife loser that he is. 50% indeed.....it is insulting, is what it is--to people who actually have some self respect--and know that they deserve better.

1/2 off for free returns is a band-aid, and just eBay's way of sweet talking you into giving in to what they want. Then, just when you are feeling all secure, like you have some protection, and when they have all the other sellers fooled too, and "safely" enrolled in their little money grab "free" returns nonsense ******THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE IT AWAY*********! Just like they always do. They are going to drop you as fast as any other sweet talker would--after they get what they want. And everyone is going to be left heart-broken, and crying once again....."But they said they would take care of me." Ha! Mark my words and mark this post for future reference.
