Buyer has contacted me about a sold item from over 70 days ago. Buyer says item was not delivered. It was insured but the usps says any insurance claim must be within 60 days. What can I do?

What does tracking say? (does tracking even say anything after 60 days?)

It is to late for the buyer to file a claim on eBay, but they can still file on PayPal or with their credit card company. You can try going to your PayPal account, find the transaction, and if you are lucky it might still link to the tracking info on the USPS website. If it is there and says delivered, you should be okay as far as eBay and PayPal go. Make a copy to the tracking page, if it is still there. If the tracking is gone, you are still vulnerable to a PayPal refund request or a CC charge back.

If you bought the label here, you can go to your Labels page and search back as far as 90 days. Check the tracking history there, and as recommended... make a screenshot. The buyer has 180n days with PayPal and CC.
Good luck!
