Hello everyone...Maybe someone can answer Question.Yesterday(27th of July)I received message from buyer wanting to know if she could return for refund(I have buyer pays for return shipping) but before I could answer she had gone to eBay for return. I went there it said reason-Doesn't like item-comment-Smells of smoke. Marked Return for refund-Buyer pays return shipping.So there is a return case open.Later received another message saying washed item and would like to keep. What do I do about open return?Just wait?or what? Thanks for any help.
As long as you have been communicating through Ebay messages, they will be able to read that the buyer has notified you they are keeping the item. Ebay will close the return.
The case will close on its own in 30 days. If the buyer is willing to keep it, I would let sleeping dogs lie, myself. You really lucked out that the buyer chose a remorse return and not a SNAD return. Sellers are responsible for return shipping in SNAD cases and that is what this is.
