Hello,
I received an item, then told seller I would like to return it, then received a message saying I needed to do that within two weeks. I then sent it back and here three weeks later I haven't heard a thing from the seller. I've contacted him twice about it.
I then wrote ebay and they have not replied to my to emails about the case.
Is that standard behavior on ebay's side in a case like this? I feel a bit abandoned and surprised, because in the past they have always been very helpful. Any advice or insight will be appreciated as my trust in ebay has taken a bit of a dive
Thanks

You can go to http://ebay.co.uk/help click Buying As A Guest, and jump to the bottom @barfoed67 to chat with eBay.
But eBay can't get you your refund unless you start a return request, then upload the tracking number showing delivered back to the seller.

Did you open a return request from your purchase history page or are you doing all of this "offline" through messages?
What was the date you received the item and what is the seller's return policy on the listing?
Was there something wrong with the item or did you change your mind about the purchase?

thanks, I sent it back without tracking, thats where I messed up, which is fine, we're not talking about a lot of money here, I'd just have liked if ebay had replied to my emails about, but I guess they just dismiss it when I don't provide proof for a return..

You need proof of tracking. The seller may not have gotten the item back.
