Refunding Buyer

I have an issue. I am trying to refund a buyer and every time it says "Refund did not go through". Also, in Paypal  the money the buyer paid me is pending and on hold. Is the refund not going through because I don't have any money in my Paypal account? Because I transferred it onto my card.

Be very careful with this one or eBay will end up refunding the buyer twice. I'd try to cancel the transaction on eBay, that should return the held payment to the buyer, eventually.
