Received only Partial Refund?

Hey there, everyone!

I'm trying to return an item. I shipped it yesterday (the day after the return was initiated). Tracking says it hasn't arrived yet.

This morning I recieved a very very small refund via Paypal - $2.50. (I paid a total of almost $20 for the item.)

Is this normal? Will the rest follow? I'm not sure why a "partial refund" (as stated) was sent in advance of the item arriving back at the seller. Thanks for any help!

Okay, so the seller got back to me saying she was only paying "shipping" until the item comes back (that amount actually doesn't cover what she charged me in shipping, by far) and that I'll receive the remainder when she receives the item. She was also a bit nasty and sarcastic, ah well...

I just want to make sure ebay isn't considering this a complete refund...anyone know? Thanks!
