Question about shipping

I went print out a shipping label for my item that sold, and there is a message next to " USPS Parcel Select Package" that says, " Buyer Selected." Does this mean that I have to ship using this service? I would be much more cost effective for me to ship via USPS First Class Package. Is that okay to do?

You should ship by whatever method you show in the listing. That said, I would ship that package by first class package as it will get there faster. Never had a buyer complain yet, with over 10,000 orders shipped.

Regardless the shipping method initially selected from your list of options for your buyer, eBay allows you to finally ship via an equal or faster method.

However, beware that some buyers choose the shipping method due to their particular situation, for example their town has no street delivery so USPS must be used, or perhaps FedEx provides poor service in their area and should not be used.
