Question Regarding USPS First Class Package International Service Maximum Dimensions

Hi guys on the USPS website it states:

  • Maximum length, height, and depth (thickness) combined: 36 inches

Does this mean you just add up the 3 dimensions of the box and keep it under 36? Because when I print a label through eBay it states length + girth needs to be under 36. So for exmaple would it be:

14 + 10 + 8 = 32 = Good to go

14 + 10 + 8 + 10 + 8 = 48 = Bad

Thanks!

First Class International: width + length + depth

Priority Mail: length plus girth.

SO make sure you have First Class checked. eBay sometimes defaults to whatever it wants and not necessarily what you want.

ALSO bear in mind the first class is limited to 4 pounds. So if you are over that then first class is simply not available.

For me first class is off at 1 lb. and inputting 16oz. in one of them is rejected so I have to use 15 ounces. I forget which page it is or how I got there.  I always mead to pay more attention to it but it always catches me by surprise

1 pound is U S domestic mail. The OP is asking about International. Different rules.

I opened a sale to Canada buyer chose 1st class and they paid and it wouldn't let me buy a label for 12 ounce package.  The shipping days showed zero? So I had to cancel the order disappointed
