I've run into an issue multiple times with different sellers over the last few days where items ordered from Japan show under ebay's tracking, but when I attempt to track the tracking numbers through Japan post itself, I get an error such as "** Your item was not found. Confirm your item number and ask at your local office." The issue is that the ebay tracking doesn't always seem reliable or update on time, and I also can't get proper tracking through the shop app which I use to keep track of everything on its way to me.
They're normal japan-post tracking numbers in the format of UN*********JP, which I've never had a problem tracking in the past, and I have no reason to suspect anybody is being dishonest since it has happened with multiple sellers and at least one of the packages I experienced this with arrived with no issues and is clearly authentic.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this or found a resolution?
