I am reviving this.

Problem with Return Label: "Please wait while we create your return label" - never generates label!

Then it says. Sorry we're not able to process the label at this time, please try again later.

 

It's been broken on my Account for over 5 Years.. And it makes returning a HUGE Hassle as most people don't want to screenshot the label and send you a copy...  or email you one.

 

Before you Respond.

I've opened Tickets about it 3 times a Year for past 5 Years.

Tried on PC, Mac and a Mobile.

Different ISP, different household, a Fedex location. 

Chrome, Firefox, Edge, internet explorer default.

 

It always does this problem. Never fixed.

No issues with my addresses.

No advice on fixing the glitch just how to get the return label.  

 

You need to get ebay to email you the label, which you probably know since you've dealt with this for so long. 

 

I don't know if the CHAT is real at the bottom of this help page OR just a BOT.

If that doesn't work then contact CS on social media.  

 

Contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address,phone number, email address, user ID and a brief explanation of your problem.

Thanks. Yeah I think what usually happens is the buyer doesn't respond, I get random refund.

 

but recently I've been paying shipping and seller sends me the funds via PP Personal payment. Such a PAIN.

 

Yeah I think a lot of times ebay says they are going to give me the label and NEVER do.

I am putting my foot down today.  5 Years+ is long enough...

 

online chat representative got me mad.

I explained that this is an ongoing issue.  I said I need to speak to manager and then after a while it says I was disconnected from chat.

And doesn't let me chat now.

 

But luckily! it says they can call me in 40mins. So phone system is partially open.

It's crazy that a paying online store sub has to deal with this **bleep**! let alone anyone else having this issues.

 

I feel guilty now and want a result now because my seller is super honest and I guess got frustrated trying to push the return label and I think he by accidently fully refunded me just now. and I don't feel comfortable WAITING for Ebay to figure it out in 5 days. Get that $hit out of my face.

 

I know why they do this.. and it's super messed up...

to make us give up and not return...

@xxlostspiritxx  They do absolutely need to fix this issue, you're not the only one that has had this problem.  

 

However, if the seller has already issued a refund then a return label can NOT be printed from the return flow.  

 

The seller can send a return label as a JPEG in ebay messages.

The seller should buy the label here as it's less than at USPS click and ship:

Yes.  I know.

I am not a jerk, I am returning it and hopefully they don't forget to spot me.

At this point. I don't care if they do.. They had to go through hell waiting for me to go take care of it myself..

 

But everytime I process a Return for my customers.  My Customers have ZERO Issues printing the label.

 

I think I finally can sum this up.  And Sorry, No Solution below.  Read if you want.

 

Wat I told upper management of Ebay when they called me back.

I told them, this is unprofessional. No other platform works like this. For Sellers accounts or good standing accounts in use often, Will get this glitch and it will never go away.  Ebay will blame the Sellers for this issue every time.  And then Suggest the seller should message you a photo attachment. When I've Never Once had it work when I print the label since 5 + Years ago when I didn't sell or use ebay too much. The would say my seller is not pushing the correct button. Which is horse $hit, because it would of at least worked once within 5 years+..

My Girlfriends account that gets used once a month or 2.  Has ZERO Issues and everytime you print return label.. It works...

 

So what they do is get you hooked.  So they try to force good accounts to try and pay for shipping or go through hassle to make the seller try front you funds or provide label via photo attachment. Forcing them to make reverse return label to themselves...   All because they want to stop returns.  And what this causes, the sellers to panic and try help you quickly.  (Panic shouldn't be a fking thing)  And if they don't know it's happening right away.. The Buyer will leave negative feedback to the seller if they don't respond, to force Sellers to be on their toes to take care of it themselves.   This is the most corrupt thing I ever heard..  This is 2020. And this **bleep** worked better 15 years ago...

I do not like the idea of super fast returns.and everyone keep spamming the return button.. But the buyers do it anyway? so what's the difference...?

I am a seller.. But good sellers like myself... When we know it's right.. We approve it and it works no problem on my end.

PS. You know how difficult it is to have a seller front you money on PP and send it as personal/family and friends and not as a transaction?? When it's just refund for you going out of your way to ship it yourself.?  **bleep** it is..

@xxlostspiritxx. I don't think you're a jerk.  You are understanbly frustrated.  I just mentioned how a seller can send a label as a message in case you or the seller were not aware

But yeah trying to tell sellers that don't sell to often this stuff is like insane to them. And I understand it can be.

I'm going crazy right now!

All I want to do is send my buyer a return shipping label, but like you said, once I hit that "Accept Return" button, the case was permanently closed on Ebay's side, with NO WAY to simply create a return shipping label.

 It's madness! Corruption on a grand scale! I'm seriously considering getting out of the buy & sell business altogether... how heartless can a corporation be to treat its members so deplorably?
