Hi,
I just recently had a package I had mailed out last week returned to me by USPS with the reason being there was no such address. I checked the postage label and the buyer's address was correct, no typos and no damaged to the label. I then contacted the buyer and they confirmed the address on the label was correct.
The tracking showed that the package was "DELIVERED IN/AT MAILBOX" on August 19th, but updated the next day as "ADDRESSEE UNKNOWN" and then the day after that as "NO SUCH NUMBER" before being processed return to sender.
I googled the address and also looked it up on USPS and it does in fact exist. The buyer still wants the item so I obviously need to reship it, but I'm worried about having the package returned again.
Any advice?

Your post office will cover any markings and reship it for free @lyndsliv13 when they confirm at the counter that the address still on the label is correct.

- I had this happen with USPS and fedex. With USPS what the previous poster wrote is correct. Sometimes you have a carrier who cannot read . Probably misdelivered it The first day and person gave it back to them. Instead of delivering again they covered there mistake with no such address.
With FedEx the route logistics person called me twice because the driver could not find the address. I confirmed address, googled it etc. The logistics person did the same. Then printed the directions and gave to the driver. 3rd attempt got it delivered.

USPS did write on the package that "No Such Person at this Address", but the Buyer confirmed everything on the label was correct. I will definitely take the package down to the post office tomorrow and see if I can't figure out what went wrong.
Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it!
