Problem when using eBay Standard Envelope to ship cards

I've been selling trading cards for almost 2 years now, and I've been using the eBay Standard Envelope with no problem besides the tracking not working. Today a customer told me the envelope I send was on hold in the Post Office, not because it was too heavy but because it's not bendable. (Everything was sorted out with the buyer)

How I pack:

Put the card in a penny sleeve, Toploader, and resealable team bag and in an A2 envelope.

The thickness of the package should be 0.09 inches and the max can be 0.25 inches, the weight is under 1oz. The envelope's thickness is pretty even, and the Toploader is kind of bendable unless they want to fold it.

Not too sure what I can do better, this is like the 3rd time since the postage increase. Look forward to any idea.

Thanks

Sounds like not flexible enough.  Try this:

Take an empty cereal box (or crackers box, or soda 12-pack container), and cut out 2 pieces that will fit inside your envelope.

Insert the card inside the penny sleeve, and insert between the 2 pieces inside the envelope.  Seal & ship.

Weight is below 1 ounce, and your envelope is flexible enough, while still maintaining minimal stability to the card.

This works for me, with no flexibility or condition problems.

Usually not bendable means maybe an .20 cents extra. I use the same standard envelopes and such. I sold a few trading cards. 4 is minimum in an envelope with thin...very thin cardboard inside domestic or International.

Some of my buyers buy a lot...so I use multiple envelopes for the total sales. As long as I notify the buyer of how many envelopes I am mailing...plus send a photo of all envelopes. I have done 6 at one time to the same buyer International for that $1.30 rate(now $1.40) per envelope with no customs form. I don't need tracking for something under $50.00. Gosh, a stamp cost .60 cents domestic. eBay I guess saves you .02 cents or something and saids you have tracking...ha ha. You cannot write Do Not Bend on a domestic envelope with a .60 cents stamp or a eBay stamp label. You can write : Dear Mailman, please do not bend". I know my mailman is male so I can write that. It is a 25 % chance it will be returned or in limbo letter land for a few months. My post office has a machine that I can weigh my bigger envelopes and just use my stamps I bought at wholesale on eBay.
