I have been selling on eBay for a while and my question is: Can I use my own boxes (not USPS) to ship Priority Small Flat Rate Box? Also, if item weighs 5 lbs can I use Priority Small Flat Rate Box?
I appreciate any additional helpful advice,
Thanks in Advance.

@beautyforless4u No you can't use the flat rate label on your own box. The flat rate labels are for the appropriate flat rate boxes, envelope, padded, small, medium, large, etc.
You CAN use your own box to ship using priority, but it cannot be the flat rate label. You can enter your own dimensions and purchase a priority label, just make sure you don't select flat rate. Best of luck to you....

Definitely not. You can place your box in the small flat rate box if it fits. You must use original flat rate boxes without modification.
Option: Place your box in one of the flat rate envelopes.

Yes. You can ship 14 of your 5 lb items in one small flat rate box if they all fit (total weight should not exceed 70 lbs.

Thank you! I didn't think using my own shipping box would pass using USPS flat rate label. I will use Priority entering package dimensions. ❣️
