Printing labels

When I purchase and then print a shipping label, it always prints the label plus the other shipping info on the other half of the paper. Whst a huge waste of ink! Ive crawled all through the eBay, PayPal and usps sites and I'm not finding anything that works. My wife also sells but hers doesn't do it. We have tried to compare settings but are obviously missing something ...any guidance would be appreciated!

Go to the 8" X 11" PDF Line down at the bottom left of the Print Your Label and click Change. Un-check the box that says Print Receipt and Instructions.

rebell45...we are using Sellers Hub and don't know where to find what you mentioned..would that be on the left, which shows buyers/sellers name?  Strangely, I had a chat with Ebay just a few minutes ago on the same subject.   We use self adhesive labels and don't want to print the receipt.  Could it be because we are using Sellers Hub?  Have a friend who prints labels and there is an option to print w/o receipt...Thanks a bunch, happy I checked here for answer..

Printing labels

I tried printing another label for someone who has paid yet and below where the buyers/sellers name is, I found the "8"X11" PDF AND CLICKED ON "CHANGE", THEN UNCHECKED "ADD RECEIPT"....I thought perhaps you can change in SHIPPING PREFERENCES so we wouldn't need to do each time we print a label or does this remove the option on the next labels we print?

You do realize that other half is your protection in case of an insurance claim, right?

I once received a crushed lego set. Fortunately the seller had folded the label in half before attaching it because I needed the receipt on the other side for the claim.

All of that same information is online.

Many people use thermal labels that don't print any of that out at all, but is quickly accessible.

I once had a smashed lego set. The local post office insisted on the original receipt. Luckily the seller had folded the label in half before attaching it to the box.

That was a good 12 years ago though, perhaps procedures are different now.
