Can I get a raise of hands of sellers who ship on time but their  items get delivered late? We know it’s the postal service. I Started this thread so eBay can see it’s not me shipping late. They are basically saying , no they can’t dispute my claims to keep buyers happy:

Here’s some tips on how to avoid issues like this in the future

- Make sure to ship within the handling time.
- Always use the shipping service the buyer selected at checkout.
- Upload tracking details as soon as you ship so the buyer knows their order is on the way and can check its status.

not complaining just want it to be known it really happening. I ship out everyday at 11 am because postal is right around the corner. Or if it’s early enough my mail man picks up.

Not shipping but on the receiving end, all have been at my door before date shown in the listings.

Are you talking about items being delivered after the estimated delivery date, or items not being scanned in time to meet your obligation?  If I go to the post office, I stand in line and get a receipt for the scans, otherwise I have no belief they will scan.  My mail carrier makes sure my packages get scanned if they pickup.

Delivered late. I always ship in time. Once I even hand an item that get scanned or delivered. Took a hit on that also.

Okay.  I can't say I have much trouble with USPS, they seem to arrive on time for me most of the time, I have very few complaints about USPS.

I'm one of the lucky ones (knock wood) who ships with USPS exclusively and have received crackerjack service! 😊

I have never had a problem with the USPS. Never.

Well, I have to take that back. Ten years ago I did have a media rate package that took a six week tour of the country.

I only ship USPS and in the last 4 or 5 years, I've only had one package get delivered one day later then it should have.

I hear some have a lot of problems with USPS.

Media mail has delays often... and the estimated delivery time eBay allows isn't long enough many times.  Since 2020 I have had First Class Packages take up to 6 days to deliver.  Priority Mail is most reliable, but I have had a few delays with that as well.   I usually ship out same day, or within the 1 day handling time I have set.  This has helped items get there on time, but as I said have had delays since 2020.  Before that, once or twice a year.  We ship out 10-15 packages most days, some days up to 25-30

I am not Amazon, so I have 5 days handling on all my listings. That being said, I usually get them out the next day unless it is a weekend. Most of my first class packages to zone 8(I am in Southern Ca.) get delivered within 2 or 3 days. First class package to zones 1-4 will often take longer. Media mail has also been delivered fairly quickly, except to Hawaii. 1 took 3 or 4 weeks, but that is because it sat in San Francisco until the container was full and then was shipped via boat.

I ship around 1800 packages a year by USPS 1st class

my shipping stats in the dashboard look very good

back in the covid delay days ebay was also very forgiving of the lates

they used to de score them for me by the dozens and I never even asked for it to happen.

i have faith in the USPS, I have one day handling and am very pleased with the USPS

I extended my handling time to 2 days but still ship within 1 day to accommodate for possible delays.

I don't have that problem. Most my orders within USA are delivered in 3 days

I've had a few packages arrive late (I usually don't check, though, so it could be more than a few), but I've not been dinged because I get an acceptance scan within my handling time frame.   If that scan isn't being completed in time, try extending your handling time.
