Postal issue

Hello! I shipped a large package from Arizona to Ohio on December 8th.  Large box weighing 13 pounds of a new in box four piece place setting of Lenox China. Three days later I received from buyer "I want a refund" and he opened a case. I immediately sent buyer an email that I shipped 24 hours after purchase and item was shipped USPS priority mail with tracking and to be patient. Since then buyer continues to request refund which actually I don't blame him, I have contacted ebay twice and they have extended my time for item to be delivered and have now extended it till 1/4/21. I have been to my post office twice and was told be patient and that's it. I contacted USPS by email twice. I first requested for missing item and received an email back stating it was still in transit but tracking shows no movement for me. Then I requested an intercept and paid the fee. I received on 12/24/20 an email they would not do an intercept but they did refund my money. Suggestions on what to do now? Money and claim is still on hold per ebay. Thank you in advance!

Got an email package arrived to destination and "left on porch" today. What should I do now? Should I contact ebay and let them know item arrived. Should I send the buyer through the resolution case that package arrived. I am not sure what to do first. Please advise. Thank You!!!

I would do nothing at 1st. Ebay could care less generally. Some have said call ebay and they will close the case others have said do not do that. It depends on the CS rep you get on how it will be treated.

You can communicate to the buyer that's its great tracking is showing delivered. Have they received it? I say this since its breakable items you want to be sure they are as you sent without leading into that direct question. Next is possibility since late delivery buyer no longer wants them and requests return (which you need to accept).

It's going to be what it is. You did a great job! Things happen.

Hopefully all is well and your journey with this will be over.

Hello and happy new year! Before I received your message I contacted Ebay by phone and a nice young lady called me back. I explained to her what has currently happened which of course she can see herself. To put it into a nut she said I won the case and money would not be held in limbo. About a half an hour later everything she said was received in a message and showed funds would be sent to my account. My concern now is what is buyer's recourse if any. Thank you for your help pooh333piglet!
