Hello,
The other day I sold a Burberry Jacket I bought in a charity shop, and while I believed and used to wear it thinking it was real, the buyer believes it to be fake (and hearing his reasons I believe him too). I've offered him a full refund for the price of the jacket and said he can keep it because sending it back is more hassle than it's worth, but I was wondering if I have to refund the original postage cost?
Its also worth noting that the photos I put up of the jacket when he bought it show it very clearly and all the 'flaws' he spotted were visible in the pictures, so given the expertise he has he could have spotted the issues before purchasing it.
Thank for your help! J.

If you give a full refund, ebay will refund the FVF charged on the sale. If you only give a partial refund, you will NOT receive any of the FVF charged.

Why don't you ask him if he would accept a price adjustment instead of a return?

If you are determined to give him a full refund without requiring a return then just issue the refund and be done with it. A full refund would be for the entire amount he paid.
