Packing for Global Shipping

I don’t really have a problem. I am just curious as to how eBay processes our packages. I pack my orders with extra care under the assumption that eBay just slaps a new label on and sends it on its merry way. Am I correct?

They may open the package and check the contents but I don't know how often that happens or what circumstances it happens in.  I know that in the past there were a lot of comments about packages being repacked poorly so the items were damaged,  but I don't recall reading much about that lately.

GSP must open , inspect and obtain required details like country of manufacture, Fabric content / material used in manufacture , description as defined by WTO to enable them to generate correct HS CODE  and provide required information to receiving country's custom ( Pre shipment advice) as failure to do this will result in delays in customs clearance / delivery to buyers and items being returned for missing information.
