Package stuck or lost?

I purchased an item on the 28th of December. It was shipped the same day and made it to Jacksonville Florida on the 30th before going cold. It was supposed to arrive on the 4th or around that date. No scans and no movement since. Number is 9400108205496090702422. I contacted the USPS and opened a mail research case on the 6th of January, but someone from my local office left a voicemail stating that due to Covid deliveries are delayed and nothing more. The case was closed the next day and as of now, the 21st, it still hasn't arrived or been scanned, or moved for that matter.

What would be the best course of action to take at this point? The reason I opened the case is because the package didn't appear to move. And to date, it still hasn't.

Package stuck or lost?

Most of these items shake loose and get delivered at some point, but I would open an Item not received case with eBay if you don’t receive it around 25 days after the estimated delivery date. This is necessary to preserve you money back guarantee rights. You will lose the money back guarantee with eBay if you don’t file the case before 30 days from the estimated delivery date.

Welcome to USPS / COVID-19!!

Your case is not unusual. Happens every day. I just received a Priority Mail package that took 32 days to arrive.

I also have a package that I mailed out to a customer 164 miles away on Dec 4,  2020 that has disappeared.

Tracking on the USPS website is more accurate than on eBay"s tracking.

But the USPS tracking is often just a joke.

I'd give it a few more days. The "missing mail search" helps.

And remember - the delay is NOT the seller's fault!!

Best of luck to ya!!
