Opted out of global shipping set to UK only but still getting overseas buyers, anyway to stop this?

So, just had a guy buy an item I'm selling but the location to send it is abroad, this has happened a couple of times even though I'm not in the GSP and set to UK only,(spoke to eBay and they confirmed this as well) most of the stuff I sell is fairly fragile and probably not best suited to being sent through a bunch of courier journeys. I'm fairly new to selling, is there something I've missed doing? Or is it just stating in the item discription that I can only ship to the UK gonna be my best option? Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

Check your exclusion list when you set up or edit your listing.  You can exclude certain areas, but probably all of Europe.  We only ship to the Continental US, and exclude all other areas.

Yeah, use the GSP. Sell more.
