Previous - all mail/pkgs dropped or picked up from you was to leave the local post office by the evening of the same day as no outgoing mail was to be left in a post office. it was sent to the next distribution point that evening. this was in effect for many decades.
New Rule - all mail/pkgs dropped or picked up from you is NOT picked up from your local post office until the next morning. so express is no longer overnight it is now at least 2 days. priority was 2-3 days is not 3-4 days and ground is now about 5 days. if you mail on thursday it is not picked up until friday from you local PO.
ask your local post office as this is not an advertised change, i just found out today nov 14.
