Need help!

short story, lately I bought a Canon F-1 from a seller in Japan it cost me AU $397.05 and I paid it via Paypal, and after I received the camera what I found that camera is not Canon F-1 but Nikon EL2, I sent messages to the seller and he replied me "Today my shipping agent contacted me, they sent a camera to you on the same day they shipped Nikon EL2 to someone,in other words there is a high possibility that they made a mistake in putting labels on them" and he ask me to send the camera back to his shipping agent and I might get my Canon F-1 after I send back the camera, but if not he will full refund my money back . What should I do?

Re: Need help!

Open Item not as described case in the Resolution Center, Bottom of this page, You are Not Responsible for return shipping on a case like this. Do it now. Good Luck to you.

P.S. Stop buying junk from Japan, You may need to log into your own country to open your case, you are posting on eBay.com, The USA site.

Re: Need help!

Again, You are posting on eBay USA. You may need to log into your own country to open your case.

Here in the USA, when an Item is not as described in the listing, Seller is responsible for return shipping. I'm not sure if things work the same where you are. I would not listen to your seller, Open your case. Good Luck.

Re: Need help!

You start your return request on whichever eBay site at which you went through for checkout.

So if you went through checkout on ebay.com, then you need to start a return request on ebay.com. Then WAIT for a return shipping label if any, otherwise click Ask eBay to step in after 3 business days.

Re: Need help!

Sellers in another country usually cannot buy a return shipping label but they can send you the money through Paypal for shipping. Check your postal site to see what it will cost back to send to Japan with delivery confirmation.   If you pay for the label on your own without waiting for funds from the seller, there is no guarantee that the seller will pay you back for return shipping and eBay can't force them to do so.
