Myanmar Address Problem

It's not possible to set my address in being in the country of Myanmar either as Myanmar or the former name, Burma.

There are many other smaller countries out there which are available to set the address for. Through searching, this problem has come up before.

eBay should fix this.

My assumption is that eBay is considering Myanmar to be an embargoed country or prohibited country, and eBay does not allow shipping to or registration of entities located in embargoed countries (see policy).  Up until a few years ago, Myanmar was an embargoed country, but that was lifted.  So, if you were to ask this question a few years ago, I would tell you that this is why Myanmar is not listed.

Why is it still not listed?  Maybe because the country list is outdated ... maybe eBay has another reason to prohibit trade with Myanmar.  

Odd that Venezuela (an embargoed country) is available for registration ...
